More Traveling Shots

Needed my zoom lens on the camera and didn't have time, but cropped this down and it came out ok still.
This is near the Bonneville Dam.
This is the Washington State side. We took a tour from the Oregon side.  Made my hubby smile except that he wanted a the T shirt and they didn't have his size. Poor baby. He was sulky till he found this shirt.
Ha-ha-ha.
And here's the Columbia River Gorge from the Oregon side. It was a little cloudy that morning, but still a what a view.
And here's the line yesterday morning at Voodoo Donuts in Portland, Oregon. They were yummy and so cute.
Kind of got carried away and bought a dozen-who can eat that many? Even the 3 of us couldn't finish them off. Two was more than enough. But those little voodoo doll donuts are a hoot.
Now we are at the last stop of our adventure, Astoria, Oregon. This is where my husband's great-grandparents arrived in the US many years ago. Some of the family stayed here, but we don't know who they are. Maybe we'll see the family name somewhere. But last night I had salmon fish and chips at the Wet Dog Brewery, with this yummy beer.
We don't get salmon fish in chips back east; everything is white fish.
YUMMY!
And last shot for today, yesterday we spent the afternoon at Evergreen Air and Space Museum. Howard Hughes' Spruce Goose is now here. You can see just how huge this plane is (wingspan doesn't even fit in the photo) and you can barely make out my husband down there. We took a tour and spend the day in aeronautics land.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.  Haven't had much time to check out anyone else's posts, but once I get home later this week I'll be back to it.
Thanks for dropping by.
